The Chrysanthemum Pledge is the debut EP by the great TITAN. Featuring former members of Toronto hardcore and noise bands I Spoke and Panserbjorne, the demise of both groups brought members together to create something more cohesive, strong and altogether more ambitious. they are playing in the vein of buried inside, isis to envy, uranus, one eyed god prophecy, with long and emotive songs in which construction is followed by destruction is followed by construction. a really intense and unique atmosphere is created and you can lost yourself listening to their stuff. there is one song in four movements on the "The Chrysanthemum Pledge" ep in 26 minutes, and react with protest records cannot wait to press it on some lovely vinyl.
