Starting this part we have SUNDOWNING from Germany who release postmortem their final song ‘Funeral Malevolence’, a dark and gloomy piece of dark hardcore that this band was lately known for. This tune is followed by REKA from Russia, who give their masterpiece ‘Expactative’ the first spin on vinyl ever. The band proofs once again their artifice to combine monolithic passages with rousing moments of light and draught, a rough jewel of atmospheric and heavy music.
Belgium’s MAUDLIN follow with their song ‘I’ll Cut – Distant Distortion’, a cinematic version of modern Postrock, added with sharp vocals and different cuts, making this band such unique.
After this, BLACK TABLE from the U.S. set sail to unleash ‘Heist’, a beast of metallic sound-structures falling in a mixture somewhere between black metal with progressive impulses. A musical intense and dramatic pathway, which is guided by a significant voice to blaze an acoustic trail.
Adjoining Austria’s I NOT DANCE deliver with ‘All The Roads We Left Behind’ a forward raging piece of Posthardcore that ventilates a proper portion of pressure, drama and passion. High pitched melodies and a constant level of intensity, underline this powerful and dynamic juggernaut.
Taillight of this release build Malaysia’s QUANTIS, who nail down five songs of harsh and rough played Screamo. A sign of life from a spirit that seemed lost for a very long time and got caught by these punks to create music falling between ear catching melodies and emotional outbursts. A perfect end of this 12”, which builds bridges to the existing parts of the series.

this is some very fucking promising tech-grindcore.talking about majorly
intense and frantic grind with wildly chaotic drumming that barely seems to
follow the same beat as the guitars, which are ultra fast and a little
noisy, but also super detuned for added heaviness. Also in place are layered
screaming/growling female vocals (some of the best I've ever heard), crazy
technical riffs with plenty of blasting speeds, and lots of weird chord
phrasings and rhythmic patterns that really fuck with the structures and
make for an odd listen. you ve been warned.

Sømerset hail from Münster and play some chunky, stompy, screamy hc that touches base with Cloud Rat, Punch and Left For Dead - a promising set of influences that result in a fairly decent racket. Despite the heaviness it's not an all-out slugfest - there are a couple of prettier breakdowns which, when coupled with the strangled-duck vocals, actually remind me of Carlisle or the first Spirit Of Versailles 7".

Within the vast and often chaotic global network that is the DIY Hardcore scene, like-minded bands may often exist for years without even being aware of each other. When their paths finally cross though, even under the most coincidental circumstances, strong and very fruitful alliances may be forged instantly. This is exactly what happened when SANGHARSHA, a NYC-based band consisting of four Nepali guys, who have been channeling the struggle of existence into crushing Hardcore since 2010 met German Negative Hardcore outfit BLANK, who have released two records entitled ‘Calix’ and ‘Suspiria’ and played shows all over Europe since their inception in 2011.
The axis New York-Ohligs-Kathmandu will be strong in 2015 teaming up for a split LP entitled 'Intermundia' as well as a short US-Tour in July/August. 'Intermundia' contains three new songs by each band, showcasing their different takes on dark, modern, crushing Hardcore. The whole affair was mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege and will be out on Alerta Antifascista and Holy Goat Records

This is the final record from the Insect Warfare-influenced, vicious Florida grindcore outfit Cellgraft. After their final show on September 1st at the Brass Mug in Tampa, Florida they're calling it quits. They've generously left this unrelenting jagged shard of Grindcore as their final word. Their records have been tremendous, truly doing the grind scene proud, and it's really a shame that they've split - especially considering they deserve a ton of attention for their hard work and dedication to face shredding Grindcore over their short 3 year existence.Self-titled and raw as you could ask for, this record is as short as any GridLink release and approaching their level of might and ferocity, while sidestepping technicality and barreling head-long into darkened, brutal speed. Outside of the opening track "False Sequence of Value" there is only one other track of the 17 here that approaches one minute in length. The opener is also the slowest you'll ingest too, at least for the first minute as it clobbers you with a maniacal set of distorted groves.

Abstracter has shared a stage with bands like Bell Witch, Mass Grave, Noothgrush, Buried At Sea, Unearthly Trance, Acephalix, Sleep, Graves At Sea and many more, presenting the world with their own brand of apocalyptic, hopeless and darkness-fueled music driven by crushing, grim, and dissonant guitar work, apocalyptic themes and lyrical content, and absolutely blood-freezing and plague-ridden atmospheres. Dark Circles is a three piece band from Montreal, Canada who formed in early 2013. Dark Circles play a dark, metallic, and crust tinged style of hardcore. Musically, Dark Circles can be loosely compared to bands such as Hexis, Svffr, Holy, and other-like minded bands. On their side of the split, Dark Circles offer up four tracks of brutal as fuck sounding blackened/crust tinged modern hardcore.
